REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS LIP GLOSS
I’m not a major lip gloss person but what drew me in to buy these on my last Boots visit was the perfect shades and the expensive looking packaging. I hadn’t heard anything about them yet so I grabbed the two shades that called out to me and headed to the till.
‘Pink Pop’ is a bright, blue-based pink that I would usually completely avoid but something made me want to try it. Despite the blue tones in it, I can actually get away with it because the formula is quite sheer. It goes on a little patchy but after a few swipes it evens out and leaves a sheer wash of pretty pink. ‘Kiss Me Coral’ is a beautiful raspberry coral that is perfect for a summer evening.
The sheer formula includes SPF 15 which swiftly bumps these up to the top of the summer lipgloss list. They don’t look too glossy or over the top, but they have the right amount of light-reflecting spheres in to keep them looking pretty and light on the lips. They didn’t feel at all sticky on my lips, but I did notice that the gloss disappeared quite quickly and didn’t manage to last through any meals.
If you like a quick summer lip gloss fix with added lip protection, these are for you. If you prefer longer lasting formulas that leave a tint behind, sorry these won’t make the cut.
