LONG-LASTING SMOKEY EYE
This post has been sitting in my drafts folder for a long time, so I thought it was about time to set it live!
It’s a simple, but effective long-lasting smokey eye that I regularly wear if I need an eye to last all day and evening. The Rimmel Scandal Eyes eyeshadow paint in Rich Russet is the perfect bronze base. The formula will not move at all once it sets and it leaves a gorgeous metallic bronze finish. I use this all over the lid and also take it slightly under the eye. To add some warmth I then take MAC ‘Texture’ which has a burnt orange tone to it and lightly blend it into the crease and under the eye.
To smoke it up a bit I like to use a dark brown eyeliner like the Tom Ford ‘Expresso’ and take it across the top lash line and then blend it out with a brush. For my lashes I used the Laura Mercier Faux Lash mascara, but any volumising mascara will do!
This 4 product eye always works a treat and never lets me down. Do you have a typical smokey eye you always go back to?
