JO MALONE LONDON PEONY & BLUSH SUEDE
A Jo Malone launch is my favourite kind of launch. Their fragrances are so unique, special and 100% worth splashing out on.
For September their launching the beautiful Peony & Blush Suede and about 5 months ago I went along to the Jo Malone offices to have little spritz. The whole office was decorated with peonies, 10,000 peonies to be exact and it was absolutely breathtaking. They never fail to capture the perfect atmosphere to go alongside a fragrance, but don’t worry the flowers were rushed off to the Chelsea Flower Show and were not at all wasted on us!
When you first spray the scent onto the skin you get a burst of red apple, jasmine, rose and gillyflower. Then comes the peony floral scent mixed with sweet honey and at the base is suede to add a luxurious, seductive texture.
It is quite floral, but I’m not usually one to like floral and I really like this. There’s something different about it because of the suede and the fruity notes. It’s light, fresh, pretty and sophisticated.
It will be hitting counters this September and will come in the 100ml (£78), 30ml (£39), body crème (£50), body & hand wash (£32) and as a candle (£38).
I think a lot of people will love this one, so head to a counter to try it yourself. Don’t forget to try it on your skin rather than on paper, it’s very different!
