many thanks!
]]>I’ve got 3 tattoos and must have been really lucky with where I picked (in Dublin) for getting them. Got the first when I was 20 and they were just lovely to me as they knew I was scared and didn’t know what to expect pain wise etc. The experience was so good that 2 years later I went back and got another two done in the same place. They also topped up the colour in my original one so that it didn’t look strange (they’re all beside each other). I have to say I never felt rushed with them. I’d brought the designs to them and they suggested alterations and slight changes to make them fit better together. I do think tattoos have to have meanings but not necessarily that the actual picture has meaning but that the tattoo itself (process, picture, timing etc) has meaning for you. Mine are on my back so I never really see them but they’re my touchstones that ground me.
