POST-CHRISTMAS HOME DECOR

I LOVE the post-Christmas declutter. I took my tree down on the 27th and I know that probably makes me sound like a scrooge but I really can’t stand Christmas decorations once Christmas has passed. I want it gone. Once the tree is taken down, the lights are put away and the Christmas bunting is folded into a drawer everything feels fresh and clean. My flat feels like it’s back to normal and I love it, although I definitely feel like I need a few new additions going into the new year. Everything is pretty neutral in our home and I need to restrain from filling it too much as it’s small but come spring I think I’ll swap some in some more colour here and there.

My favourite shops for homeware are Oliver Bonas, West Elm, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. I spend hours trailing through the websites looking at all the pretty things, even if I can’t buy them.
