THE NEW WHITE

The New White nail polishes by Nails Inc seem to be popping up everywhere and then when Anna started raving about them too I couldn’t resist any longer and picked up two shades last week in Selfridges. There are four shades in the collection, all soft, white based, pastel hues and they’re gorgeous! I love pastel nails and I love pure white nails so these sit somewhere it between and look incredible chic on the nails.

I picked up Swan Street, a mint, and White Horse Street, a lilac. The idea is perfect and the colours are perfect but I was a little disappointed with the formula of Swan Street. I find with white, light pastel shades they really have to be opaque to work and the formula of Swan Street is quite sheer. Two coats I can deal with but who has time for three coats of nail polish? Not me. I also find when you have to layer it on, the polish does peel more easily around the edges. Strangely, the formula of White Horse Street is better and only requires two coats.

I’m not surprised at the excitement these have caused in the beauty world, they are beautiful. Have you picked on up yet?
