IT’S ALL ABOUT COMFORT
Now first of all I really hope Rich isn’t reading this. It’s a ridiculous post as it is, but this particular topic really winds him up. So what’s the topic? Work out clothes make the best loungewear.
It’s nothing new, we all knew that trainers were comfy but until recently I’d never felt comfortable working such casual wear into my everyday wardrobe. Now I love nothing more than skinny jeans and a pair of trainers. I had a pair of Puma’s but they were quite heavy and my friend Gemma was raving about her Nike TR4s so I gave them a go. I prefer the shape of these to the 3.0 shield as they are slightly more narrow at the front. I chose the new grey and coral pair but changed the laces to black to make them more everyday wear and less sporty. They’re seriously a dream to wear, I don’t think I’m ever going to take them off.
I also recently picked up a pair of discounted Nike dry-fit shorts from Sports Direct. These were actually for working out but… erm… that didn’t happen. They are so comfortable though, I live in them every day. Rich comes home from work and it looks like I’ve been working out, I’m fine with that! If you do decide to wear these to actually work out, they’re really good because they have a netting inside so you don’t flash your knickers to anyone.
Finally, my last comfy loungewear love goes to the H&M tracksuit bottoms. They’re soft, they’re cheap and they do the job. When it’s too cold for shorts I wear these… I call them my filming pants.
So yes, I just wrote a post about the comfy clothes I like to slob around the house in but I just don’t do uncomfortable! Comfort always comes first.
