Great video Lily. I think you should call them beauty spot because in French, we say “grain de beauté”, which is basically the same.

Thank you for this video Lily, I certainly appreciate it and think its something that should be talked about more so people understand. I have a mole on my chin (my mum also always told me it was a beauty spot haha) and so I used to get teased at school and have the whole “moley moley” thing shouted at me so I understand how upsetting that can be!

It’s a good thing to share these types of things. As for the teasing, I totally understand, these days its quite how I feel about all the “grandma” “granny” slings. As a grown woman, I know the comments are said in jest but they do sting. So, along with the words of encouragement about taking responsibility for health issues and being open about them, I’d like to ask everyone to really pay attention to all the joking and words we use. The are powerful and sometimes not in such a good way.
