The most exciting launch this month comes from Bumble & Bumble with their City Swept Finish spray. I absolutely love their Dryspun Finish spray which creates texture and fullness in the hair and is very similar to the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray. Their new launch (coming this month) is all about creating texture and separation, which is how you achieve that street-style, ‘just got out of bed’ look. It sprays like a hairspray, defines like a wax and softens like a cream. It can be used to layer over the Dryspun Finish spray or just used on it’s own and so far I’m loving it!

Something a bit crazy happened a couple of weeks ago… my face was splattered all over the Muji store in Oxford Street. It was so much fun to host a beauty event there and meet so many of you that came (thank you if you did!). I really love Muji as a brand and have been using their acrylic drawers for years, so it was great to collaborate with them. Whilst I was there I also picked up some essential travelling bits for Ghana. If you’re going away I’d really recommend their airport approved clear zip bags, their affordable world travel adaptors and their perfectly compact travel beauty bits. I could spend a small fortune in Muji so I’m trying to stay away for now but if you do pop into a store, see if you can spot my face or name somewhere in there!

On a trip up to Suffolk last weekend, Rich and I went via The Cake Shop Bakery in Woodbridge. It’s had a bit of press coverage recently so I wanted to see what the fuss was all about… It’s a really quite trendy bakery on a very, cute country highstreet and judging by the queue half way out the door, it’s a very popular one with both the locals and visitors. They did some interesting bits, we picked up some semi-sourdough doughnuts, a treacle tart, an eclair type thing and some homemade sausage rolls. It was all delicious, made with really good quality ingredients and did I mention the bread looked ah-mazing?! I could have spent all day in there, but if you live near Suffolk or are passing through I’d recommend popping in to pick up some baked treats.
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @lilypebbles for daily photos!
