TANYA BURR ‘LITTLE DUCK’ NAIL POLISH
By now I’m sure you know how I feel about mint blue nail polish. It’s a beauty weakness that’s been shared on this site for many years now. When I first took a peak at Tanya’s upcoming lips and nails range I was so happy to see a few familiar and favourite shades. One that really grabbed my attention (of course) was ‘Little Duck’.
It’s brighter than Essie ‘Mint Candy Apple’ and actually more similar to Nails Inc ‘Haymarket’, but I think it’s a gorgeous colour for Spring/Summer. Compared to the lip gloss packaging, which really impressed me, I found the nail polish not as impressive. The lid was a little difficult to remove and I found the square lid stayed on some and came off on others revealing a smaller brush holder underneath. I also found the brush to be a little frayed, but was still easy to work with. The formula is great though and you can tell that’s where the time and money has been spent when it comes to making these. I got an even, opaque look after two coats and my nails looked really bright and glossy.
I found the polish lasted really well with a top coat, a good four days like most decent polishes do. I can’t wait to wear this colour throughout the warmer months and I think it’s really quite pretty.
I also have a couple of other shades I really like, but I’ll tell you more about those another day! Have you tried any of Tanya Burr’s nail polishes yet?
