NARS BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS
In association with Selfridges, NARS have launched their Bright Young Things Instagram challenge, which is being hosted on their Facebook page and aims to find the brightest makeup talent around.
My chosen colour is Red and I created this look using some of the brightest shades from their lip, cheek and nail collection. On my cheeks I used the tiniest (I mean tiniest) amount of ‘Exhibit A’, which is an intense red blush and for my nails I used ‘Dovima’ which is a sophisticated deep red. I wanted my lips to be the statement so I lined them with ‘Jungle Red’ liner, filled them in with ‘Jungle Red’ lipstick and then applied some ‘Holly Woodlawn’ lipgloss to the centre of the lips.
What’s the competition? //
It started on 30th August and will be running until 27th September. NARS will post a weekly challenge inspired by one iconic bright shade on their Facebook page and followers will have one week to upload and share their brightest beauty look photo submission. The photo must use the hashtag #NARSBYT and list which NARS products were used. One winner will be selected each week over a series of 5 weeks. The 5 winners will receive a limited edition NARS makeup bag with 5 products (total retail value £100). One final winner will be chosen to win a one to one artistry session with International Lead Stylist Jane Richardson, including travel expenses as well as the entire NARS Fall Colour Collection.

– Upload a photo onto Instagram
– Share your brightest look inspired by the shade displayed on it’s designated week
– Selected shades across different colour categories include Red, Pink, Blue, Coral and Violet
– Make sure the hashtag #NARSBYT is included in the photo description
– NARS will select the most creative submission each week over 5 weeks
– NARS will select a final winner to win a one to one 1 day artistry session
