BUTTER LONDON NAIL CARE
Ever since Butter London polishes have become more readily available and stocked in most Boots stores, it has shot up to be one of my favourite nail brands. Aside from their nail lacquers something they do really well is nail care and they have quite a good selection of products.
Let’s start with the Handbag Holiday cuticle oil, which you may be thinking is a strange name for a cuticle oil. It literally smells like piƱa coladas on the beach. Apart from just smelling good it also works really well at moisturising the cuticles and it’s something you can just carry around in your handbag and use on the go.
The Nail Foundation base coat is something I’ve heard a lot about. It’s a sheer, nude base coat that smoothes out the nail, neutralises the colour and makes applying nail polish on top a dream. Because of the nude colour it works really well under bright polish, but you can also use it under neutral colours. The Matte Finish is a shine free topcoat that applies shiny but dries down to a complete matte finish. Sometimes shiny nails can look a little young, so a really nice way to make them look classier is to use a matte topcoat, I especially like it over navy blue.
If you’re a nail biter or your nails simply won’t grow quickly then the Horse Power nail fertiliser is the one you want to go for. It’s packed full of nutrients to help your nails grow and it also works really well as a nice base coat.
All of these are available at Boots here, my favourites are the Nail Foundation and Handbag Holiday.
