WOMF #25
Doing my makeup before a party is one of my favourite things to do, so for this week’s WOMF, I’m doing just that!
I wasn’t feeling a bold lip so I opted for eyes instead and focused it around my favourite MAC eyeshadow, Club. I started by using the Smashbox 15 hour wear cream shadow in Sapphire all over the lid, which is a gorgeous midnight blue. I used my finger to blend it all over the lid and the darkness of the blue really helps any shadow you apply on top really stand out. I then took Club and packed it onto the lid before blending it out into the crease. The green mixed with the blue gives a really cool duo-chrome effect and when Club is blended out it goes brown so it really helps define the crease. I also took Club under the eye, being quite generous to give a really smokey look. A swipe of Teddy eyeliner blended out on the top lash line and plenty of The Rocket mascara to give full, black lashes.
For the rest of the look I wanted to keep it quite fresh so I went for a coral theme, using my Revlon lipgloss in ‘Kiss Me Coral’ which I’m completely in love with. It’s not sticky and really long lasting! To go with the lips, I used my new (thank you Rich!) Dior Paradise Duo in ‘Coral Glow’. Both the bronzer and the blush are really sheer so you can either mix them together to create a pretty cheek glow or use them separately as a light bronzer and blusher.
As it is a party and flash photography may be used I opted for the faultless, spf-free Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation which gives flawless coverage whilst still looking skin-like.
