WHAT’S ON MY FACE #21
My skin has been feeling a little dry recently so I went for one of my dewier foundations, the YSL le Teint Touche eclat and buffed it into the skin. To conceal under my eyes and a few pesky spots I used the new NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer that I spoke more about here. Instead of my usual NARS Laguna I tested out the Bourjois bronzing primer for the first time and I was really impressed. I’ve heard people compare it to the Chanel Bronze Universal but I think it’s actually a lot easier to use because of it’s soft mousse texture. I dabbed a bit on my cheekbones, temples and down my nose before blending it in with a contour brush. It left a really natural bronze and paired with Topshop’s ‘Gleam’ highlighter the whole look began to look very glowy and summery. For a sheer, natural blush I used a the Jose Maran Watercolor blush which I am seriously in love with!
Light, shimmery prettiness was the aim with my eyes and to attempt this I used Benefit’s ‘Birthday Suit’ as a base and blended ‘Suspect’ from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette on top. These together created a pale bronze shimmer that I also carried on under they eye with a bit of ‘Tease’ for definition. I also used my finger to place ‘Bootycall’ in the inner corner of the eye to highlight.
On my lips I used a YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres in ‘Babydoll’ which is a deep raspberry pink that looks almost red. I love how light it feels and I always forget I have anything on my lips at all!
So, am I the only crazy person who plans her makeup daydreaming in bed?!
