Reading this made me want to grab mine and apply it ahah I have the one in vanilla & macadamia nuts, which smells like a vanilla-y white chocolate flavor, and i love how it's very creamy and fragrant. Mine does leave a white tint to the lips (which really contrasts against my tan skin) so, appearance-wise, it's not the best, but I do like it (:

I think these are totally awful. The packaging is nice, but they leave such an awful look on dry lips, one looks like a baby with white in the chopped lips, just awful. It was never absorbed by my lips, it just clung there, looking messy. I don’t recommend these!

I bought this and really liked it until I read up on the ingredients in the balms. Microcrystalline waxes (the main ingredients) are a type of wax produced by de-oiling petrolatum, which particles are so large the skin is unable to absorb them so it sits on your lips meaning it dries them out in the end.Paraffinum Liquidum is similar and prevents your skins normal respiration, causes it to sweat beneath the oily layer thus resulting in further drying the skin and inevitably causing a breakdown in its normal function. This will exacerbate eczema and psoriasis problems and potentially create a dependency, as the natural oils in the skin fail to function correctly.

My friend has just got into ‘green’ skincare and opened up my eyes to some of the things we put on our skin. And although I am not 100% going down the natural route, I am trying to make wise decisions and not put crude oil on my lips!
