WHAT’S ON MY FACE #15
Today was the day for digging out some old favourites and finally some new bits. My foundation has been looking really cakey recently so I tried my YSL le teint touch eclat and now I don’t know why I ever stopped using it. I used my fingers to work it into the skin and it doesn’t cling to any dry bits or look cakey at all. To keep with the moisture look I used my Kevyn Aucoin cream blush for a very natural flush.
Another product that’s really been helping the foundation problem is the Urban Decay Chill makeup setting spray. I’ve never really used a setting spray before and thought it was something only oily skinned girls use, but this one is for cooling and hydrating and it does just that! I mixed together my Bobbi Brown tinted eye brightener with my Origins Plantscription concealer which meant I ticked both the coverage and brightening boxes for under the eyes.

On my eyes I tried out a new palette that’s been sitting in my drawer for a while, the Urban Decay Ammo palette. I of course reached for the neutral shades, Sin, Chopper and Smog which are all in the Naked palettes but I also used Maui Wowie all over the lid which is like a shimmery silvery green… ish. It’s not something I’d usually use but I do like it despite ending up with glitter all over my face. You can’t see it here but my face is literally a glitterball… fail. The colours are all very shimmery, so I also used MAC Cork in the crease and under the eye to balance it out.
On my lips, I dabbed on a small amount of YSL lipstick and on my nails I used the very chic ‘fashion’ by Deborah Lippmann. I also tried out the Dr Haushka volume mascara which despite it’s name is a lot less volumising and lengthening than my usual mascaras, but that’s what I was aiming for with this look.
Do you use any of these products?
