A MINTY SPRING
Every year when Spring approaches (or in our case not so much), I look forward to wearing Spring colours again. I find it hard to wear pastel coloured clothes with my complexion, so instead I opt for pastel accessories. One of my all-time favourite Spring colours is Mint blue/green, so here is a mini shrine to all things mint and wonderful…
I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this bag from Brit Stitch and can’t wait to wear it. It’s one of their ‘half pint’ bags, so it’s great for Summer days when you don’t want to carry a huge black leather tote bag around. It’s really good quality, really light weight and just looks so cute!
Essie ‘Mint Candy Apple’ is still one of my favourite nail polishes around and I have about three bottles of it in my collection. I’d recommend buying your Essie polishes from Boots or Superdrug as the new brushes are much better than the old ones. Pop ‘Mint Magic’ is very similar, but with a slightly cheaper price tag and a slightly brighter finish than Mint Candy Apple. Since writing this post I have also discovered Bourjois Amande Defilie which is perfect, but you should see it popping up in a video soon!
I’ve also thrown in my favourite mint t-shirt and shirt from Monki and H&M. Now all I need is a bit of sunshine….!
