THE ORIGINS EXPERIENCE
You all know my love for Origins… that’s a boring topic now, but this post is a little different. The lovely people at Origins gave my mum the chance to try out their new Plantscription moisturiser as it is great for anti-ageing which is something she looks for in her skincare routine. The Plantscription moisturiser is a new product that’s been added to the serum alongside the Plantscription cleanser and eye cream. The moisturiser comes in an oil-free version too, which is the one my mum and I both prefer.
So what’s the verdict on the day cream? Well let’s just say the woman hasn’t stopped going on about it since the day she tried it! She absolutely loves it and you can really see a difference in her skin which looks much brighter and feels much softer. I have also been using this instead of my usual day cream as it has SPF in and it feels amazing on my skin.
A couple of weeks after being introduced to her new moisturiser, I took her to an Origins counter in John Lewis to have an introductory mini facial. Anyone can book a free mini facial at an Origins counter and with that you’ll get a consultation, treatment and there’s no pressure to buy.
A lovely lady called Stephanie did my mum’s facial and she used the Plantscription cleanser and followed with the Modern Friction scrub and Drink Up 10 minute mask… “ooh that smells nice!” – yes Mum, I’ve only been going on about it for a year!
After the mask, she used the new Plantscription toner which my mum purchased last week and LOVES and then used the serum, eye cream and moisturiser. Her skin looked and felt incredible afterwards and she ended up leaving with a few new products, the No Puffery eye mask and the Drink Up 10 minute mask.
I’d highly recommend the mini facial if you’re new to the brand, it’s a great way to learn what products will work best for you. Although it’s on the counter, the chair is well hidden and you forget you’re there as soon as you close your eyes.
