NEW IN FROM CLARINS
So as you know, I recently went to Paris with Clarins to attend their International bloggers party and to get to know some of their new product launches. If you haven’t yet seen the Paris vlog, you can watch it here.
So what’s new from Clarins? Well their most exciting launch is their new BB skin perfecting cream, which is to be launched in May this year. I know what you’re thinking, ANOTHER BB cream, but Clarins have spent a long time working on this, hence the slightly late to the party launch. It’s SPF25 PA+++ and comes in three shades; light, medium and dark. As you can see from the swatches, light isn’t very light and is also pretty similar to medium, so that for me is a slight disappointment. The formula though is really nice and feels really moisturising on my dehydrated skin and leaves a nice satin finish. It’s packed full of lovely ingredients and we know how well Clarins do skincare so you don’t have to worry about that!
Another launch that had me hopping with excitement are the three new shades added to the Instant Light Lip Perfector range. I raved about these beauties in this post not too long ago and they are some of my all time favourite lip products. The three new shades are Petal Shimmer (a light pink), Candy Shimmer (a bubblegum pink) and Rosewood Shimmer (a grown up slightly darker brown/pink). These new shades will also be available from May and I think they are going to go down REALLY well.
The next product isn’t actually a new launch, but it’s a new product to me. We saw the Fix’ Make Up used at the Clarins event in Paris and it really caught my attention. It’s a refreshing mist which aims to set makeup and make it last longer on the skin. I’ll come back to you on whether it actually works, but so far I am loving the refreshing rose smelling mistiness!
And finally the eye catching limited edition Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms. These are really cool and I think it won’t until a highstreet brand brings something like this out. It’s a pigment of colour surrounded by a balm which makes the lipstick apply really smoothly and feel moisturising on the lips. My two favourites are 05 Crystal Rose and 08 Crystal Berry. These are out in April and will cost £18.
