Bluebelles of Portobello, London
Today’s post is going to be a quick one. I’m currently sitting in my onesie trying to write this post before I go to bed and wake up early to go to Paris – eek! If you want to keep updated with my mini trip (where I’ll be as you are reading this) follow me on Twitter and Instagram (@lilypebbles).
Last weekend I was in Portobello, as you probably know if you read this post. We went to visit Bluebelles cafĂ© which is new to the area. It’s on Portobello road and is easy to stumble upon on your way to the market. I love the vintage, rustic feel and it feels like you’re sitting in someone’s cosy open plan kitchen. The quirky odd tables and chairs adds to the whole imperfection and it’s something I really love about the place.
We had some coffees, tees, yummy bread and I had a bacon sarnie that came with homemade ketchup!. They also do fresh sandwiches, pastries, muffins, soups and salads. The selection of fresh breads is amazing and just thinking about the smell is making me hungry.
I loved it and would recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Their Twitter is @_bluebelles and their address is 320 Portobello Road, London, W10 5RU.
Go and say hi to the owner Jonny, say I sent you and he’ll treat you well (well he would anyway!). Oh… and have a bacon sarnie!
