Going for a walk is a bit of a weekly routine for myself, my boyfriend and my parents and last weekend we went to Hampstead Heath. It’s my favourite place to walk when the weather is nice and especially when the leaves start changing colour. The Summer was so wet that it’s taking a bit longer this year, but soon all the leaves will be different shades of brown and orange and everything will look beautiful.
I dug last year’s Autumn Topshop coat out from the spare bedroom cupboard and have been enjoying wearing it again. I love the colour and the oversized ‘boyfriend’ look. Underneath I layered my basic Topshop top and chunky burgundy Topshop cardigan. When I wear oversized tops and coats I like to pair them with tight trousers so I wore my trusty Topshop Leigh jeans tucked into some black Hunter wellies. I’ve attempted walking without wellies many times and I recall one time with a new pair of Uggs and a muddle puddle that nearly ended in tears. These Hunters are so handy and they live in the boot of my car ready to be worn on my weekend walks!
Bring on Winter… I love it!
