An evening in Space NK
Sorry for the picture heavy post, but Space NK is such a beautiful store that I couldn’t help but get snappy happy. I feel like I’ve sort of grown up shopping in Space NK; it’s always been my mum’s first choice when it comes to cosmetics shopping. There are quite a few local to me and I absolutely love popping in as it has all the best brands and it’s such a pleasure to walk around.
I went to a Space NK event last week and we were so lucky to meet a few of the founders of the amazing brands in the store. The event was held in the Soho branch, which is massive and gorgeous. I started the mini tour at the Hourglass stand where we were introduced to a few new launches from the founder Carisa Janes. I really loved the look of the Liquid Powder Foundation and the new Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipsticks, which will be launching this Autumn. I then went over to the Rococo stand where I watched Lily and Anna have their nails done. Rococo have a beautiful Summer collection and are bringing out a special Jubilee collection too. I then heard amongst the other bloggers that Terry de Gunzberg was in store and talking her through her amazing By Terry products, so I quickly whizzed over to see her. It was really great to hear her so passionately talking us through her new launches, which included the incredible Aqua Lip Tint, which I’ll be doing a full review on tomorrow. The final visit was to see Poppy King, the founder of Lipstick Queen. She told me all about her exciting new launch of a lipstick box trio, the first one being Litropolis: The story of Lipstick in the City. There are three lipsticks in the cute little book, each one named after an area of New York and it is the perfect lipstick kit!
The rest of the evening was spent browsing Space NK and lusting after absolutely everything. I hovered around the Diptyque area for about 20 minutes… (obsessed).
Are you a fan of Space NK? Do any of these new launches appeal to you?
Lily xx
