On Tuesday morning I went along to the Marie Claire blog and twitter awards… thanks again for all your votes! Gemma and I met up with Meg before hand and we all went in together.
Strangely, the awards ceremony was a breakfast. I was a bit worried as I am really not a morning person, but luckily I wasn’t too moody! It was in a nice gallery near Bond street with massive white walls – hence the outfit pic (couldn’t resist). Our blogs and twitter feeds were projected on the wall which was really funny to see, especially Meg’s not so appropriate blog post and Zoe’s hilarious ranting tweets.
They served croissants, yoghurts, juice and tea.. it was quite nice. It was pretty busy and full of lots of fashionistas… the beauty bloggers stuck together! Marie Claire gave a little speech and presented the winners with their ‘awards’. I was so happy to see Fleur win best beauty blog, Gemma get highly commended and Karla win best beauty twitter – they all massively deserve it and I tried my best not to squeal when their names were announced.
We left with a Marie Claire mag under our arms and tummies full of tea. It was a nice morning and it’s a shame every Tuesday doesn’t start with breakfast in an art gallery.
