I’m a Tree

I’ve got a couple of weddings coming up this year and one of them is my sister’s. I have always found it really hard to dress for weddings… I’m not really a conventional dress kinda girl. I like to feel like myself, I don’t like to feel like I am wearing something just because I should be. Does that even make sense? 

I know the sort of thing that I want and have been looking EVERYWHERE , but I just can’t find anything. I did however find some shoes in All Saints (where I never shop). I am not a massive shoe person, mainly because I usually opt for comfort (boring, I know). But something happened when I tried these on, I swear, I fell in love.

I can’t walk in them, they are not particularly comfy, I look like a tree when I wear them, they were expensive and they are absolutely ridiculous… but you know what? I DON’T CARE, I LOVE THEM!!!

I think the nude colour and open toe balances out the crazy wedge/heel… so they are not TOO over the top. I am just worried about how tall I am in them, I hate it when everyone says ‘Oh my god, you’re so tall!’… it really annoys me. I just want to say, ‘no, you’re just really short’.
